Pedestrian Killed at I35

Austin Police Officers responded to an auto-pedestrian collision in the 6200 block S IH 35 Northbound to find a pedestrian who had died at the scene. 

A preliminary investigation shows that a pedestrian was walking northbound in the 6200 block S IH 35. The 50-tear-old male pedestrian, whose name was not released, was struck by an unknown vehicle, and died at the scene. 

Reports say the pedestrian may have been intoxicated, but the investigation remains open and anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call APD Vehicular Homicide Unit Detectives at (512) 974-4724.
