Motorcycle-Bicycle Accident in Austin Kills One

A bicyclist riding a bicycle evidently turned at Arroyo Seco and Romeria Drive in front of a black Honda motorcycle operated by William Skelton, 65. Both males were transported to University Medical Center at Brackenridge Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
But Skelton died on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from the injuries he sustained in the crash.
Mr. Skelton was not wearing a helmet. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call APD Vehicular Homicide Unit Detectives at (512) 974-4724. This case remains under investigation. This is the 30th fatality of 2011.
