Collision at 290/I35 Hospitalizes Four; One Dies From Injuries

A Red Toyota Corolla traveling northbound on North IH 35 Service Road collided with a Gray Chevrolet Silverado, which was traveling westbound on East US Highway 290 Service Road, in the intersection, sending the Chevrolet Silverado into the traffic pole.
Four subjects were transported to Brackenridge with various injuries. One of the four, Dorothy Roos, died as a result of her injuries sustained in the crash a few days later.
Since it is still unknown which vehicle ran the red light, the case is still under investigation. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call APD Vehicular Homicide Unit Detectives at (512) 974-8212.
