One Dead in Disney Bus Accident
A Disney bus reportedly struck and killed a 9-year-old St. Petersburg boy earlier this summer as he rode his bicycle in the Fort Wilderness campground at Walt Disney World.
Reports say the bus hit the boy, reported as Chase Brubaker, on Big Pine Drive, a two-lane roadway that loops around the 750-acre Disney resort. The boy, who was riding with another youngster, was wearing a helmet, reports say. Both were riding on a sidewalk, near a paved pathway that leads to a pool and tennis courts at the resort. Apparently, however, the boy crossed into the road and struck the side of the bus. An investigation continues.
