Reports say a Honda automobile, traveling southbound on Emerald Forest Dr in Austin, slowed to turn left onto a side street when an orange Harley-Davidson motorcycle, driven by Paul Hernandez, which was also traveling southbound on Emerald Forest Drive, failed to slow down in time and ran into the back of the Honda, ejecting Hernandez.
Hernandez, 38, was transported to University Medical Center at Brackenridge by Austin/
Travis County EMS with serious injuries where he was pronounced deceased on June 16,
2010. The driver of the Honda was not injured.
Reportedly, Hernandez had a blood alcohol concentration of .24, more than twice the legal limit.
No charges are anticipated in this case, which is still under investigation.
