Fatal Houston Traffic Accident on Sowden

A 27-year-old male was piloting his white Chevrolet Silverado westbound in the 12400 block of Sowden when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle veered to the right and went off the roadway. When it left the pavement, the vehicle went into a ditch, rolled over and landed on the driver's side door.

The victim, Juan Ricardo Alvarado-Bocanegra, 27, of Houston, was not wearing a seat belt and was partially ejected. He died at the scene. Bocanegra was the only person in the vehicle, and there were no other vehicles involved in the auto accident.
